Young Presidentís Organization (YPO)

Founded in 1950, Young Presidentís Organization (YPO) today provides 23,000 peers and their families in more than 130 countries with access to unique educational and networking experiences designed to support their business, community and personal leadership.

Members of Young Presidentís Organization (YPO) are peers who share in common the achievement of success at an early age (before 45); a commitment to learning as a lifelong adventure; and a desire to connect authentically in an environment of trust and confidentiality. At the age of 50, Young Presidentís Organization (YPO) members transition to Young Presidentís Organization's (YPO's) graduate group, World Presidentsí Organization (WPO). World Presidentsí Organization (WPO) is a global community within Young Presidentís Organization (YPO) of current and former chief executives dedicated to enriching each memberís lifelong journey of leadership, growth and significance through education and idea exchange.

David Bork has spoken at many Young Presidentís Organization (YPO) Universities, including Venice, where he was named ìBest of the Bestî in 1988, a designation for the most highly-rated speakers. For nearly 30 years, Young Presidentís Organization (YPO) and World Presidentsí Organization (WPO) have returned to have David Bork spearhead many of their educational events around the world. In March 2014, the Young Presidentís Organization (YPO) and World Presidentsí Organization (WPO) held a joint Family Business Summit, a 3 day educational workshop designed and conducted by David Bork. Topics included Governance, Succession, Next Generation Grooming, Employment Policies, Visioning and Mission Statements.

Borkís leadership in guiding family businesses through succession issues is highly regarded by both organizations. In March 2013, David Bork was called upon by the Saudi Chapter to lead two programs: Developing Next Generation Leadership and The Real Test in Family Business Success: Transition to the Next Generation.
